Last year Stef Hanson of Windy Ridge Bears designed and produced an exclusive bear for CHERISH, which raised £156 when it was raffled.
She has now followed this up with the Windy Ridge CHERISH Charity Bear 2004, a limited edition of 50 pieces which stands just over 15cm (6”) tall.
He is sewn from black short pile mohair sprinkled with glittery threads and has a hand embroidered nose painted gold.
His black ultrasuede pads are embroidered in gold thread with his individual number and he wears a black satin ribbon and a special black leather neck tag
both printed in gold with ‘CHERISH Charity Bear 2004’.
Stef has also added a Windy Ridge tag complete with her signature and the edition number.

Each bear was mailed gift-wrapped and has a CHERISH certificate stating that he was purchased in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Edition numbers were allocated strictly in the order in which the bears are bought, with the exception of the #01 bear (pictured),
which was auctioned as part of a special CHERISH/Windy Ridge Bears package.

The cost of the Windy Ridge CHERISH Charity Bear 2004 was £40 each,
£20 of which will be donated to Cancer Research UK, plus P&P.
