The May Queens

Miho Yamamoto of 'Beanie Beauty' of Japan dressed these two Beanies
(Sakura II and Nipponia, both retired Japan exclusives) for CHERISH.

Sakura II's hang tag poem reads:
Dreams and hope are children's heart
Grown up can have one, too.
The bud will keep on blooming
Like your dreams and hope.

Nipponia's hang tag poem reads:
The new morning has come
Let's get out from the small Island
And shine on the world with everybody.

She has included her own special commemorative card and CHERISH has added the May Queen Series 2005 card as well.

Each Beanie looks fit to be a Queen in her lovely outfit of pink or blue satin!
There is much detail to the dress, including beads sewn around the hem and tiny crystals sewn at the neck, like a necklace.
Lace frills adorn the bodice and headdress
and colour-coordinated satin roses add the finishing touch.
Each bear carries a tiny bouquet of fabric roses and has been given a May Queen flower wand by CHERISH.
Each bear comes in a Ty display case with a set of accessories.
Sakura II comes with a Cancer Research UK pink pin badge, a pink 'FAITH HOPE COURAGE LOVE' wristband and a pink awareness charm bracelet bearing the words
'Together we can make a difference'.
Nipponia comes with a Manitoba Cancer Care blue pin badge, a blue 'NEVER ALONE' wristband and a lovely blue awareness charm bracelet bearing the words
'Together we can make a difference'

Yours Truly May Queen was dressed by Sue Owen of CHERISH
Yours Truly(now retired) was released by Ty as exclusive to Hallmark Gold Crown Stores in 2002.

Her hang tag poem reads:
Because you want the very best
And I'm so different from the rest
Be very happy you found me
Forever I am .. Yours Truly!

This bear has been dressed in shades of purple:
she wears a full net skirt with elastic gathering at the waist and a satin ribbon with decoration as a belt.
The cloak is made from luscious purple velvet and is edged with floral braid. It fastens with purple ribbon tied at the neck.

Yours Truly wears a crystal headdress with ivory and gold ribbons trailing down at the back.
She carries a bunch of tiny roses and has a May Queen floral wand.
She has a 1/1 ear tag and comes with the CHERISH May Queen Series 2005 card.
She comes with the Ty display case and some special accessories:
a purple wristband, a Cancer Research UK pink pin badge and a blue pin badge and lovely blue awareness charm bracelet sold in aid of Cancer Care Manitoba (Canada).
