The CHERISH Kernow Heritage Package
One final package came with even more special Cornish items.

Signed inside its hang tag by its designer, Morley Lester of Ty UK Ltd,
Kernow also came with a commemorative card produced especially for Kernow Beanies
bought by personal shoppers at Cornish Delights of Padstow on May 1st 2006.
This card is also signed to CHERISH and dated by Morley Lester.

The package contains interesting Cornish items including a St Piran's flag, three different Cornish Piskies, a Kernow Pasport, a miniature Cornish Pasty and Stargazy Pie, a Cornish Pasty stick pin made from Cornish Tin, a handmade card with silk Cornish National Tartan and a Kernow pin badge.

The Kernow Beanie, exclusive to Cornwall, comes in a display case with Cornish National Tartan ribbon around the top and a CHERISH commemorative card inside.
There is also space to display the Kernow Passport.

There is a glossy information leaflet produced by CHERISH about the history of the 'Obby 'Oss, the Cornish tartan and shield, St Piran, Cornish Piskies and Joan of Wad, and the Cornish Pasty

Kernow Passports have kindly donated these passports with their own interesting history.
They were originally produced as mementoes for the Eclipse.
There was a total Solar Eclipse in Cornwall on 11th August 1999.
This event attracted many vistors to Cornwall and Devon, wanting to view the last total eclipse of the millennium.
Each passport has its own number and bears a photograph of Kernow Beanie and a special stamp on the inside page.
Joan the Wad Cornish Piskey Shop in Polperro has donated the
Lucky Joan the Wad Brass Charms for the packages.
Joan the Wad is the Queen of the lucky Cornish Piskies.
This charm may only be sold in the Joan the Wad shop.
Also included are a Jack O Lantern and a Polperro Piskey charm
Andy Bennett created this beautiful greetings card featuring a Celtic cross design and a circle of silk printed in the Cornish National Tartan.
Two miniature 1/12 scale items of Cornish food are included: a Cornish Pasty and a Stargazy pie, which is a Cornish dish made of baked pilchards covered with a pastry crust. The pilchards are arranged with their tails toward the centre and their heads poking up through the crust around the edge, so that they appear to be gazing skyward.
The Cornish Pasty stick pin is from the South Crofty Collection, handcrafted from Cornish Tin, mined from South Crofty Mine before it closed in 1998. The stick pin is no longer produced.
A KERNOW button pin badge is also included, featuring the St Piran's flag in its design.
Also included in the package: a folded CHERISH Thank You card and glossy magnet produced specifically for these packages
