Another of Jennifer aka PattiBuddy, FerociousPlatypus’s
talents lies in painting eggs. She has donated two Christmas-themed
eggs. These have special hangers attached, with red satin ribbon tied
onto these, allowing the eggs to be hung from a Christmas tree or perhaps
from a Christmas wreath. The two eggs have similar designs and - if
you could bear to - you could keep one and give one to a lucky friend
as a gift!
The calendar idea was conceived after the arrival of several photographs
sent by Jennifer to Sue to show the cookie idea. Having admired the
wonderful way in which the photographs had been staged, Sue asked Jennifer
whether she would like to work together on a special calendar featuring
a Beanie photograph for every month of the year. Jennifer jumped like
a Gazelle at the chance and so the idea was born.
Thank goodness for Broadband as several large picture files travelled
through cyberspace across the Atlantic Ocean. They were then downloaded
and the most suitable chosen for each month. Then followed the task
of creating the calendar and finally came the printing, laminating and
binding process. The result is a glossy A4 size spiral-bound calendar
with a page per month. Each month has a different photograph of one
of Jennifer's Beanie displays to suit either the season or an occasion
taking place during that month.
