'Get on your bike with your family, friends and work colleagues and have a great day out, all for a good cause.
We have six bike rides you can take part in this year and each route is approximately 15 miles.

On Sunday 16th May all of my family took part in our local 'Get on Your Bike' event. This started in Wellington Country Park near Reading and took us through glorious countryside, via quiet roads. The route was well-marked and marshalls were placed at strategic points to ensure that nobody took a wrong turn. There were also two water stations along the route, manned by friendly and encouraging people, who distributed cold water and (very welcome!) confectionery donated by Mars.

The atmosphere was pleasant and friendly from the word go, with no fierce competition between the participants; instead the cyclists were encouraging each other up the more challenging slopes. The marshalls were also good at keeping our spirits up and the applause from the Cancer Research UK staff and the 2-TEN FM local radio crew was a wonderful welcome back to the Start/Finish point.
